Random Sweet Surprise

Leong, Gin, Xinyi & me had a last time planning for BRIDE WARS!
alright lar. i got the cravings to watch it:)

here's the review:
Imagine going against your best friend and coming up with all sorts of evil schemes to ruin each other's wedding dreams that are taking place on the same date, time and place. Not such a sweet idea, isn't it? Moreover, is it that big of a deal?

As the story goes, Liv and Emma are two brides-to-be sharing almost everything during their childhood days and have always wanted their wedding at the Plaza Hotel. However, when their wedding dates clash due to the secretary's fault, tensions arise between the both of them as none of them will back down.

Funny enough, the way the Plaza Hotel was portrayed in the movie felt like an underlining message screaming, "The Plaza Hotel is only place worth marrying in! Nothing else matters!" But then, at least it did slight justice to that as the locale looked pretty decent enough.

In terms of the two main actresses, both did a stunning job as bridezillas while I personally thought Kate Hudson looked old to be playing a 26-year-old beside her co-star Anne Hathaway. Even though, she was slightly old for her character, she was still gorgeous on screen especially when wearing the beautifully designed Vera Wang dress that fitted her perfectly. Remember - the bride must alter herself to fit into a Vera Wang dress and not the other way around.

Watching those two at each other's throats with subtle yet spiteful acts was fun to watch no matter how predictable it may be, involving blue hair dye, blood orange coloured tan, and sexy dancing. Pay attention to the clever hints suggesting what would happen in the end, serving quite a surprise that made the story a little bit more real toying with the character's emotions. But whatever it is, it tells a beautiful story of how best friends should cherish each other and also not to stress out too much over your own wedding day.

i also wan vera wang dress for my wedding. location at fullerton:)
