just submitted MR part A. September is HERE!
the first workshop i ever attended in SIM. haha.
we did the career interest first. i chose the following:
- Marketing Research Analyst
- Management Consultant
- Psychologist
- Counsellor / Therapist
- Training & Development Specialist
- Budget Analyst
Out of all, 3 were green, 2 yellow and 1 blue category, which showed that my direction was not really clear. Holland's hexagon implied that the first three choices i chose were investigative. like working alone & solving complex problems, dealing with ideas rather than people or things.
oh well. working with ideas is better than working with people. as least ideas wont have fakers. then i learnt how to manage change. and i resolve to be more positive and confident today, less pessimistic. followed by the DISC test. 1 year ago, before entering SIM, i had high I and S. and now, High C and I. almost complete change.
the goal of a C: accurate.
motivation: quality.
fears: not being good enough.
when under pressure: critical of self & others, withdrawal, procrastinate, go to hobbies.
the last bit was the interviewing skills. must remember to treat the receptionist very good! they also hold the key to your recruitment!
high C!
some things are hard to believe even if you have seen it yourself.
