A Day to Gain Fruitful Experience.

so today i got myself to become the student helper at jez's company. sort of the one that gives directions to the tourists? dunno how to put my finger in-.-

the part when i jus reached the meeting place, was extremely boring. it can be proven with the number of sms-es i sent and calls that i made within like an hour??? o.O.

at around 8plus, the whole thing started. cruise ship had arrived and tourists had started 'alighting'. so some of us had our sign-boards raised high, hopefully to alert our respective tourists groups.

time passes when you have something to do.

and for once, i have got the chance to tell the tourists HOW TO GET TO A CERTAIN LOCATION! POWERRFULL RIGHT! me leh! OMG. we were like analyzing the singapore map, finding popular spots. today is the first and only time in my life so far i have ever taken a long time looking and analyzing maps!

LOL.

once everything was done, we were off to botanic garden to help out with their refreshments.

their refreshments.

and through shirley and jez, i got to know a new plant, 'dancing lady'. :)
dancing lady! why leh? HA.
it looks like a small girl wearing a dress. and if you have a chance to flip the leaf (dress), behind got 2 those resemble her legs:)
me and jez back at the terminal meeting point.

this was what i wore for the event.

my name tag.

and time do flies. soon we found ourselves sending the friendly australian tourists to departure hall:) they were really so friendly! awww...

i was given a US$2 tip! lOl. the only one who got it. wee!

after a day of $60 worth of work, me, jez and george went to plaza singapura to have our dinner and ended our long tiring day with a boring movie 'the days'.

we had dinner at my favourite hk cafe!
(still remembering the first first time i went to this cafe with you! you were so sweet then:) its all in the past though now.)

BUT ANYWAY!
mine! baked cheese rice with chicken wing + iced yuanyang! lovely!
our beancurd. big one.
so big-.-
mine:)
rice bucket i hope! HA.

funny part: we bought our movie tickets for the 7.15pm timing, and we just stepped into the cafe at 7pm. LOL.

so me and jez secretly went to the movie counter hopefully to postpone our timing to a later time, which was successfully and led us to go scam george:)

the movie was alright on the whole, perhaps i have already long been detached myself from the secondary school days, so to me, normal.

on the way home, had a chat with jez. a long-lost friend that i found:) over the lost of him.

thinking of jez's funny msg in the morning lifted the smile on my face when i had reached the meeting place. HA.
